Our Story
Baking with Heart, Heritage & Spice
From a grandmother's kitchen in Trinidad to dessert tables across the GTA.
Where It All Began
At the age of 10, in a warm kitchen in Trinidad, I stood beside my grandmother and watched her bake. She never used recipes. No measuring cups, no timers. She baked by intuition, a pinch of this, a handful of that, and everything she made was perfect.
When she passed away, the baking stopped. For years, I didn't touch an oven. Then in my late 20s, something pulled me back. I started baking again, and with every batch, I felt connected to her, to the smells, the spices, the love she poured into everything.
For over 10 years, I baked for family and friends. Eventually people started asking to pay. What began as a way to honor my grandmother became a small business built on heritage, Caribbean spices, and the joy of sharing something homemade.
Baking isn't work to me. It's stress relief. It's joy. It's my way of keeping my grandmother's spirit alive in every dessert I make.

A traditional Caribbean black fruit cake typically costs $60–$80. Our mix is just $25, and it is made with premium spices to enhance every bite. Our mission is simple: increase awareness and make Caribbean black fruit cake more accessible to everyone.
